Enjoying a play and revue together
Discover two different ways to enjoy one theater visit.
A Takarazuka program may pair a story-driven play with a revue of song and dance. A full-length play may also conclude with a show. Check the official production guide for the format of each program.
In the play, follow the characters and their changing relationships. In the revue, notice the music, dance, costumes and transitions. When a program has two titles, reading each introduction can help you find what interests you.
For your own notes, record the troupe, year and each official title. Check the official listing for the running time and intervals of your chosen performance.
